Merlot

This unfiltered premium red wine is unique in this region and only grown in a small number of vineyards. 100% locally grown Merlot grapes have been aged for over 18 months in barrels crafted from Prince Edward County white oak barrels from the Carriage House Cooperage. This wonderfully oaked local Merlot has a full red berry and lead pencil nose, lovely ripe raspberry flavour with well integrated tannins and a nicely oaked profile. Excellent paired with grilled meats, game and strong cheeses.
